Managing Director

Carl brings more than 40 years of experience in senior leadership positions in the pensions and insurance industry to his role as an executive coach and business advisor. Following a career with a Fortune 500 company that took him overseas to lead change in various countries, Carl turned to coaching as a way to share his wealth of knowledge gained from many successes – and the occasional mistake. He is energized by the opportunity to help others grow and develop into confident, capable corporate leaders.

Carl combines a good sense of humour with a pragmatic and straightforward approach to address challenges head on, in order to deliver effective coaching and business advisory solutions. A graduate of the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Carl has served on several charity boards.

Drawing on her extensive human resources experience in the non-profit, and retail sectors, Andrea delivers valuable and strategic HR support, coaching, and HR best practices advice. Andrea is an HR generalist with expertise in, performance management, coaching, employee relations, policy and procedure development, and organizational development. As a strategic business partner, she excels in aligning your human resources strategy to your mission and vision.

A graduate from the Trinity Western School of Business, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management. She is certified in Lumina Spark, a professional development tool that supports individuals, teams and organizations to work more effectively and improve their bottom line. Andrea has worked with Pro COAL since its inception in 2010, sharing her passion for people and desire to see them realize their full potential.

Vanessa has over 15 years of HR senior-level experience in industries such as energy, accounting, telecommunications, mortgage, technology, municipal government, and post-secondary education.

Vanessa specializes in providing strategic HR and operational solutions. She gets to know your business, then figures out what you need for your people. She is also passionate about providing solutions to complex problems, inspiring a different perspective, and empowering your team to achieve high performance. Vanessa focuses on building relationships and collaboration with businesses.

Vanessa is a “Chartered Professional of Human Resources” (CPHR), Prosci Change Management practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree, and the HR Business Management Certificate (300 hours) from the University of Calgary. She has many years of coaching experience, including coaching certifications from Mount Royal University, “Coaching for Insights (Neuroleadership Institute Foundation)” from the City of Calgary, and Coaching for Insightful Conversations.

If Daryl is in the business of developing people into their greatest potential. He brings more than 25 years of experience teaching and developing, teams, conflict resolution, leadership, and coaching. Daryl has coached senior leaders throughout business, municipal governments, education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations.

Daryl focuses on leaders developing their own self-awareness and how they influence others to create effective, impactful, and powerful leadership results. Participants appreciate his interactive and engaging style as they identify key concepts for application. His doctoral study was on the influence of leadership development on engagement and innovation in the workplace.
